This is a "lite" exploration into Geoengineering (weather modification) being deployed across the Americas and Europe to curb the effects of climate change. Most average citizens have been told, and believe it to be true, that climate change is happening, human kind is the cause and we are in a crisis unprecedented in scope. One idea is to use high altitude flying aircraft to spray chemical compounds into the atmosphere to reflect back the sun's energy, thereby reducing planet temperatures. The belief is warming is caused by the greenhouse effect, accelerated by use of fossil fuels. All is scientific theory, of course, but there is much evidence that these technologies are beyond the testing phase and are deployed on a regular basis. Anyone can see the evidence if the sky is observed with no bias. Sometimes the persistent sky trails are there, sometimes they are not.

Locally, I observed the flight paths are not normal and are too high for local departure/arrival flights we can see daily. The San Francisco Airport (SFO) is just a few miles east of my house so I am familiar with the flight patterns as planes fly over Pacifica. A few years back I recorded activity, over the course of a few hours, standing on my front deck facing eastward toward SFO. Here is what I recorded: My Photo Album

Contrails (CON-trail) are water vapor trails that dissipate in less than a minute, based on climatic conditions.

Chemtrails (CHEM-trails) are persistent tracks that often run horizon to horizon, crisscrossing and spreading out over large sections of the sky.
