One of the most influential bands in the history of rock and roll. Originating from Liverpool, England, the band was formed in 1960 and primarily
consisted of four members: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. They led the "British Invasion" of the US pop market, changing music forever
with their innovative and distinctive style.
Their music evolved from pop and skiffle to incorporate many other genres including psychedelia and rock, greatly expanding the sound palette of popular music. The Beatles
were pioneers in the studio, experimenting with new recording techniques and embracing multitrack recording.
Some of their most iconic albums include "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Revolver," "Rubber Soul," and "Abbey Road."
The Beatles also made significant cultural impacts beyond music, influencing fashion, film, and human consciousness with their messages of peace and love, especially during the tumultuous 1960s.
The Beatles' tours in the USA were a significant part of their career and had a massive impact on American culture and the music scene. Their tours not only brought their music to the American
audience live but also set off what would be known as the British Invasion, influencing countless artists and shaping the music industry in profound ways.

George Harrison's sitar expertise is showcased in several songs, particularly from his time with The Beatles. These songs highlight his fascination with Indian classical music and his
collaboration with sitar virtuoso Ravi Shankar. Some notable tracks include: Love You To (Revolver, 1966), Within You Without You (Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, 1967) &
The Inner Light (B-side of "Lady Madonna", 1968).
